Stars & Stripes Picnic
The Stars & Stripes Picnic is the premiere destination for your Independence Day celebration! KC Riverfest joined forces with the National WWII Museum & Memorial to put on the largest fireworks show in Kansas City. Spectators can start picnicking around the south grounds of the lawn at 3 p.m. with the fireworks starting at 9:40 p.m. The best part? The entire show is FREE! There will be food vendors, hot air balloon rides, face painting & more.
Star Spangled Spectacular
This exciting event has an amazing fireworks display!! Thousands of people attend each year to enjoy fireworks, music, and activities for the children. And don't worry - there is plenty of grass space for blankets and lawn chairs. The show starts at 6 p.m.
4th of July Celebration - Leawood
The city of Leawood puts on quite the show for 4th of July! Join the community this 4th of July for games, food vendors, music, and of course, fireworks! Don't worry about parking - free shuttle buses will be running from the west side of Tomahawk Creek Parkway to City Park starting at 10:00 am.
Village Fest
Village Fest is a huge 4th of July celebration that hosts a day full of family fun! It starts out with a delicious pancake breakfast followed by numerous activities. This event will have bounce houses, face painting, carnival rides, pony rides & more!
World's Of Fun
World's of fun is putting on an exciting 4th of July celebration! There will be fanfare to delight, entertainment for everyone, and activities all day long including thrill rides, waves at Ocean's of Fun, and much more. When the nighttime rolls around, be sure to stick around for an impressive display of fireworks starting at 9:30 p.m.
July 4th At The Farm
All of you with little ones, head of to Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead for their wonderful Independence Day celebration! It's a fantastic way to get the whole family involved with the 4th of July patriotic activities and celebrations. From 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. there will be lawn games, patriotic lessons, and a bike parade.

Join the Missouri Town staff and volunteers in their traditional Independence Day celebration!
There will be children's games, patriotic speeches, cooking, dancing, militia marches, and many more interactive activities! This events starts at 9 a.m. and ends at 4:30 p.m. Tickets for adults are only $8. Tickets for children 5-13 and seniors are only $4. Children under 5 get in for free.
