Leglar Barn Museum
The Leglar Barn Museum is part of the Lenexa Historical Society. It was built in 1864 by Adam Leglar. The Santa Fe Trail passed through one corner of the barn when it was originally located at 95th and Quivira. It was reconstructed in 1983 in Lenexa, KS through fundraising efforts of the Lenexa Historical Society. The goal of the Leglar Barn Museum is to educate, preserve, collect, and exhibit the history of Lenexa, KS from past to present.
