Great Lenexa BBQ Battle 

The Great Lenexa BBQ battle is a 2-day event that showcases the best barbecue around. There is everything from brisket, pork, and ribs to sausage, chicken, and steak! There are over 186 contestants and 240 judges. This event also features live music and children's events

Lenexa Art Fair

The Lenexa Art Fair is a 1 day outdoor art fair. It is the perfect event for art, jazz, wine, and beer lovers! More than 50 artists throughout the region are featured accompanied with live jazz music, sidewalk chalk art, children's art activities, and food trucks. Make sure you stay until the end because in the evening there is a wine and beer tasting that features local wineries and breweries.

Spinach Festival

In the 1930's, Lenexa was hailed as the Spinach Capital of the world.  Every year, the city hosts a festival to celebrate that part of their history with The Spinach Festival. It's a 1 day family fun event that draws thousands of visitors each year. It's a day filled with fun, music, entertainment, food, art and antique vendors.
