Gardner Aquatic Center
The Gardner Aquatic Center is open from May - September. You'll find concessions, a family swim area, and rentals are available for pool parties. Some of the other attractions include zero depth entry, an in-water play area for children, a lazy river, water slides, climbing nets, spray grounds, and a toddler pool. It's perfect for people of all ages!
Celebration Park & Sports Complex
Celebration Park and Sports Complex is an 83-acre community park. It contains baseball and soccer fields, concession stands, restrooms, shelters and picnic tables, barbecue grills, and a playground. There is also a walking trail, 10-acre lake, and large open areas with a variety of uses for children and adults.
Cornerstone Park
Cornerstone Park offers many attractions to the public. There is a newly built playground that is handicap accessible with many fun features for kids. There are three picnic shelters and two of them can be rented! There is also an awesome amphitheater, a walking trail, and restrooms. This park is perfect for family reunions, play dates, birthday parties, or just a fun day out in the sun.
Gardner Lake Park
This 3.5-acre recreational area features two park shelters that have been recently renovated and are available for rent. There is also a new boat dock for those interested in getting out on the water! It is a no wake lake, but any size and type of motor boat is permitted. The area has also been cleaned up by trimming and removing trees.
KCPL Wetland Park
This Wetland Park serves three important purposes. Firstly, it improves the quality of water in Big Bull Creek and Hillside Lake. Second, it serves as an outdoor classroom for kids and other individuals to learn about nature in the physical setting because there is a unique blend of nature, ecology, and conservation. Lastly, the park alleviates losses of wetland habitat.
Westside Park & Sports Complex
This 11.85-acre complex features four baseball/softball fields, basketball courts, two sand volleyball courts, a shelter and picnic area with barbecue grills, and restrooms. In addition to the sports complex there is also a playground with kid friendly equipment. This versatile park sees thousands of children and parents each year for softball and baseball tournaments.
