Coming up on 90 years, the Country Club Plaza has a tradition of lighting the entire plaza up with dazzling lights. It begins each Thanksgiving evening and runs through mid January. This event is a must-see and a must-do for hundreds of Kansas City families as well as visitors who travel here specifically for this event. It is a must see of the holiday season!
The Plaza Art Fair is a top-ranked national art event held each year. It features 240 artists, encompasses 9 city blocks, and welcomes a crowd of over 250,000 people. In addition to all of this, there are 3 live music stages and over 20 restaurant booths. People come together to celebrate art, each other, and the unofficial welcome to fall.
